Situated on the shore of Middle Bob Lake near Minden, Ontario, Onondaga Camp inspires the best in outdoor fun, learning and adventure for children ages 7 to 17 years old.

    Onondaga Camp welcomes applications for campers between the ages of 7 – 17.

    Campers are placed into sections based on age groups. Your camper(s) will be placed in one of the following sections depending on their date of birth.

    Jincis (born in 2016-2020)
    Bantams (born in 2014-2015)
    Inters (born in 2013)
    Seniors (born in 2012)
    Super Seniors (born in 2011)

    Activities

    At Onondaga Camp, we provide challenging opportunities for campers to participate in over 30 different sports and activities. Each program is set up for campers to receive quality individual or group instruction, learn new skills, and take the skills they already possess to a new level.

    We offer three levels of certification for most of our activities and encourage campers to work towards their Bronze, Silver or Gold certifications.

    Campers can also earn their provincial certification in certain activities such as canoeing, swimming, waterskiing and wakeboarding.

    Daily Schedule

    Each day at Onondaga Camp, we map out a full slate of activities to keep campers involved in a range of exciting and different things to do, from wake up to bedtime.

    In the evening at Onondaga Camp, the sky is the limit when we organize incredible themed events, which can include just the cabin group or the whole section.

    Every day at camp is full of fun, variety, imagination and a sense of adventure.

A true Canadian summer tradition, Onondaga Camp offers an extraordinary environment for kids to play, explore, achieve and grow.

  • Onondaga Camp welcomes approximately 400 campers every session.

    Of this number, approximately 85-90% of our children come from across Canada, and 10-15% from all around the world.

  • Sleeping quarters at Onondaga Camp are comfortable and rustic in a peaceful woodland or lakeside setting.

    Our younger campers stay in large wooden cabins that sleep eight or ten children with two staff members in an adjoining separate room. All cabins are fully modernized with sink and flush toilet facilities.

    Campers 12 years and older, stay in one of the many platform tents along our signature ‘tent line’ that runs around the bay. Tents have bunk beds and shelves for each camper, as well as windows and screen doors - essentially ‘cabins with soft walls.’ The tents are weatherproof and have 6 campers in each. There are centralized washroom facilities nearby, complete with individual shower stalls.

    Campers LOVE staying along the tent line as it’s in the heart of the camp!

  • The health and safety of our campers and staff is our first priority.

    Our on-site Health Centre is staffed by a doctor and four nurses and is equipped to serve the daily needs of campers.

    In all areas of our program, we enforce strict and sensible safety rules. Our high staff-to-camper ratio, along with the extensive training our staff receive, ensure that all activities (and camp life in general) are conducted safely.

    Equally as important, is our role of looking after the emotional safety of our campers too.

    At Onondaga, our staff is skilled in helping to foster the supportive and caring environment required for every boy and girl to experience the best of what Onondaga has to offer.

All-Inclusive Fee Package

All fees posted in Canadian Dollars and subject to 13% harmonized sales tax.

International campers are provided with an all-inclusive package so that everything they need for during their stay, is included in camp fees paid.

This includes the following:

  • All meals, accommodations, activities & programming;

  • Basic tuck shop expenses (snack and drink items);

  • Sleeping bag, pillow, life jacket, canoe paddle;

  • Round trip airport transfers from the Toronto International Airport (YYZ);

  • Custodianship documents for travel to Canada;

  • Health insurance for dates of stay;

  • Regular email and photo updates home during camper’s stay;

  • Communications package (regular scanning/emailing of handwritten camper letters AND printing/distribution of parent emails while at camp);

  • Camper yearbook (sent by post in December following summer).
